CAPE CORAL, Fla. - The package for VTech's "Catch-me-kitty" toy says it's designed for users 12- to 36-months-old, but the Blanco family says theirs wouldn't get a PG-rating.

Kristian Blanco's sister bought the talking toy cat for his 1-year-old daughter Katalina, hoping it would be educational. When he heard what it had to say, it was clear to him, this wasn't the cute critter he wanted schooling his daughter.

"I was shocked. I'm speechless," says Blanco. "I had to hear it twice, three times, four times for me to believe it."

A VTech commericial for the toy shows the cat inviting kids to chase it. At one point, it clearly sings, "Race me."

The Blancos swear their cat says, "Rape me."

The Cape Coral father isn't the only one sounding off on the seemingly naughty vocabulary. Others have posted YouTube videos of their Catch-me-kitties, and asking others what they hear.

For now, Blanco says their toy is going back to the store, until it learns a thing or two about good manners.

"It's like a little innocent toy that becomes a monster," Blanco says.

WINK News tried contacting VTech by phone and email. The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
