FORT MYERS, Fla.- Red Bones Steakhouse & Saloon served up food and fun today for a great cause on Sunday.

The Palm Beach Boulevard restaurant collected non-perishable foods and monetary donations to help stock the shelves of the Harry Chapin Food Bank.

Organizers say it's a simple way of helping out during the holiday season.

"It's really tough. If you drive downtown you see people that are homeless, we see it all around town. We just want everybody to have food, to have a good Christmas, a good holiday" Red Bones manager Sean Corey said Sunday.

The Red Bones Backyard event wrapped up at 6 o'clock, but the Harry Chapin Food Bank is still accepting holiday donations.
