LEE COUNTY, Fla.- According to Garrett Kern's Lee County arrest warrant, Kern allegedly admitted to killing his grandfather, James Arthur, and asked a friend, Russell Baxter, if he could help "clean up" where he had dumped the body.
According to Baxter, Kern said that his grandfather and father had molested him and admitted that he had done "something stupid."
Baxter claimed he didn't want to be involved. He pointed out that Kern had blood on his pants, at which time Kern leaned over and rolled up his pants.
When the two walked back to the Arthur's Volvo, Kern pointed to the seat and passenger door, boasting that he had choked Arthur to death and that "blood and foam came out of his mouth."
Both men are currently in the Lee County jail, but it is unclear whether Baxter was arrested in connection with this case.
