ESTERO, Fla. - Two men are in critical condition after a head-on collision Saturday afternoon in Estero.

The Florida Highway Patrol says an SUV crossed a median and hit an oncoming car on Corkscrew Road near Estero Town Commons Place.  Troopers are investigating what caused the SUV driver to lose control.

FHP said John B. Reilly, 56, of Bonita Springs was driving the SUV.  Floyd Griffin, 72, also of Bonita Springs was driving the car.  Both men were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Parts of Corkscrew Road were closed for several hours during the investigation.
