BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - The Lee County Sheriff's Office says a missing Bonita Springs man has been found safe in Collier County.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office had issued a Silver Alert on Saturday for Ivan Hubert Fogt, 79, after his wife said he left their Bonita Springs home and hadn't returned.  The couple had recently arrived in Southwest Florida for the winter. 



Deputies say Ivan Hubert Fogt, 79, was reported missing by his wife on Saturday afternoon.  Deputies say the couple had recently arrived in the Citrus Park community from Ohio.  

The Sheriff's Office says Fogt suffers from Alzheimer's Disease.  He may be driving a blue, Dodge Caravan with Ohio license plate DXA 6138.

Fogt is described 5'7" tall, 150 pounds, with short white hair, unshaven face and has a large surgical scar down the middle of his chest.  He was last seen wearing jeans and a button down shirt.
