PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's deputies arrested three of seven people on drug charges Wednesday after they were invited into a man’s home by his caretaker. CCSO received a 9-1-1 hang up call at 4:51 p.m. from 21532 Olean Blvd. in Port Charlotte. Deputies responded and located three subjects walking away from the house. Upon entry, deputies met with the 61-year-old homeowner who wanted everyone out of his house. He said he has a 31-year-old woman taking care of him and believes she invited all of them into his home and he suspected drugs were involved.

All seven were detained while the owner gave permission to search his home. Four people were located in a bedroom; hiding in the closet were Kalim Nyabinghi Miller, 40, 418 Bonita Ave. in Port Charlotte, and Kenyaun Mantell Graham, 31, homeless. Deputies found two plastic baggies, one containing quantities of Colnazpan, Diazepan and Quetriapne. The second bag contained .2 grams of Crack Cocaine. One of the three detained outside was Brittany Rea Prainito, 25, homeless. A search of her purse found .1 gram of Crack Cocaine.

Miller and Graham were each charged with Possession of Diazepan, Possession of Clonazpam, Possession of Quetriapne without a Prescription, and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia. Miller was additionally charged with Possession of Cocaine. Miller, a convicted felon, has 28 bookings with 40 records. Graham is also a convicted felon with 11 bookings and 30 records. Prainito, a convicted felon, with nine bookings, was charged with Possession of Cocaine. All three remain in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond. The other four were released.
