FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers Police are investigating a traffic crash that happened around 2:00 p.m. in the 4800 block of Cleveland Avenue.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a Toyota Camry. Police say the driver of the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Cleveland Avenue; the driver of the Camry was traveling southbound.

According to police, the two collided as the driver of the Camry crossed the northbound lanes attempting to make a left turn. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital trauma alert. Investigators say he was wearing a helmet.

The driver and passenger in the Toyota were also transported to the hospital. The crash was cleared and Cleveland Avenue reopened just before 4:30 p.m.
