FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - The Salvation Army of Broward County is hiring, just in time for the holiday season.
Officials with the agency say they'll be looking for 100 bell ringers to man the red kettles starting Nov. 19.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports the Salvation Army is holding a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at its Fort Lauderdale office.
The jobs run through the holidays. Hours run between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Starting salary for bell ringers is $8 an hour. Donations are used to fund programs the agency supports.
