NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say an 18-year-old who escaped from a secure juvenile center may be roaming around the Tampa Bay area.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says James Tyler Williams walked away from the Mandela Adolescent Treatment Facility on Sunday.

The St. Petersburg Times reports that Williams could be with his girlfriend in Tallahassee. Or he could have remained in the Tampa area.

Sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll says Williams is wanted for armed robbery in Pinellas County.
