CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Police are asking for help in locating a missing and possibly endangered person, James Arthur, 80.

He was supposed to be with his grandson, Garrett Kern, 24.

Kern was to be driven to a probation appointment by Arthur this afternoon, they never showed.

Kern was seen later this afternoon at BA Hustlers Pool Hall on Santa Barbara Blvd. Kern was driving his grandfather's car but Arthur was not there.

Kern made statements to patrons giving rise to concern for the welfare of his grandfather, James Arthur.

They were last seen together leaving thier home of 3519 SW 29th Avenue Cape Coral, FL this morning.

Kern is driving Arthur's 2010 Volvo S80 sedan, Florida tag A057QX.

One of James Arthur's credit cards was attempted to be used at 5am this morning at a gas station in Gainesville, FL.
 
The card, which was used to purchase gas, was declined. Police believe that Garrett Kern attempted to use the card and is out of money somewhere in the Gainesville area.
 
James Arthur has still not been seen and has not attempted to contact his family.

Cape Coral Police Detectives are broadening their focus, to include the Gainesville area in their search for Arthur and Kern.
