FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Fort Myers City Council addressed concerns about Occupy Fort Myers at their city council meeting Monday night.  They said they don't want to start a fight with protesters.

Instead they're looking to find common ground and bring the protest to an end.

The city plans to release an official statement on the matter on Tuesday.  Demonstrators who stay the night at Centennial Park can expect another round of tickets.
