FORT MYERS, Fla.- Edison State College President Dr. Kenneth Walker has fired another top administrator.

The college district Vice President and Dean of Instruction in Arts and Sciences confirms to WINK News that Walker fired him today. Dr. Bob Beeson tells WINK News Walker fired him for not getting rid of Dennette Foy, Associate Dean of Professional and Technical Studies who was put on adminsitration leave following the recent course-swapping scandal.

Witnesses on campus say they saw Beeson being escorted off campus by armed security guards, carrying his diplomas.

This afternoon the Edison State College board of trustees will consider a request by President Kenneth Walker to fire Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Steve Atkins. Walker fired Atkins for alleged "insubordination" involving the course swapping scandal. Atkins is widely credited with bringing the scandal to light.
