BONITA SPRINGS, Fla -- The storm didn't spare Bonita Springs. Around 11:00 last night, Bonita was pounded with heavy rain, and they've been soaked since, especially around the Imperial Harbor community, on Peer Lane.

Drive around the neighborhood and you"ll find dry streets, until you arrive at Peer Lane. The water is over a foot in some places. Some here are worried, others say they've seen this before.

Elaine Morrison is hoping this water doesn't creep any closer to
her home

Neighbor Joyce DeCosta is also worried. She moved to this area just six months ago, and says the flooding started last night. She's seen it before but not this severe.

Roger Dougan isn't worried, though. He thinks the water will clear up soon.
