ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- Members of the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force, went to the Veranda Inn, 2073 S. McCall Road in Englewood, acting on a tip Friday that a Federal Fugitive from Ohio was staying in one of the rooms.

Upon entry to the room, Brian Archibald Greeno, 41, and Marty Eugene Clements, 43, both of Circleville, Ohio, was located in the room along with two others. Task Force members said Greeno was attempting to flush Oxycodone pills down the toilet. They confiscated the baggie and pills, and also located Phentermine, Lorazpan, and Diazepam pills. Also on the bed was a bundle of cash amounting to $4,000 and Greeno’s wallet containing $643 for a total seized of $4,643. Clements had a container hanging on his belt containing Lorazepan. He also had an unused prescription form from a medical clinic in Hileah, Florida for Lorazepan (generic for Ativan) prescribed on Oct. 12.

Fugitive Task Force members said the two others in the room were not charged. The Federal Fugitive from Ohio they were looking for was not in the room. Greeno said they came down to Florida in an effort to obtain various controlled substances throughout the state.

Greeno was charged with Possession of Oxycodone, Phentamine, Diazepam and Lorazpam, and Tampering with Evidence. Clements was charged with Possession of Lorazepan, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Greeno posted a $12,500 bond and was released; Clements remains in jail on $3,500 bond.
