FORT MYERS, Fla.- On Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 6:26 p.m. the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Central Avenue in reference to a suspicious person.

Upon arrival police learned that a 10-year-old boy was outside riding a skateboard when he was approached by a stranger. According to the boy, the stranger was driving a car and offered him candy if he got inside the car. The child said “no” and ran home.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 50’s. His car is described as a four-door, early 90’s, blue-green Cadillac Deville with factory tires. The picture attached is a model similar to the one the child described.
