BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - A 7 year old girl found without a pulse was revived by first responding firefighters after drowning in a family pool.

The girl was believed to be underwater between 5-7 minutes at her home at 3935 Woodlake Drive in the Bonita Bay community Saturday afternoon.

Bonita Springs firefighters, whose station is across the street, showed on scene 8 minutes before EMS did.

Lt. Eric Madden helped revive the seven year old with CPR and quick thinking paremedic work.

Investigators say the girl was in the pool with her 4 year old sibling while her parents cleaned the home.

She was found face down by her parents and pulled out of the pool until responders could arrive.

The girl has been placed in the ICU at North Collier Hospital and is listed in critical condition as of Saturday night.
