At 4:00 p.m., the center of Tropical Storm Nate was located near Latitude 19.7 N., Longitude 92.3 W.
Nate is moving toward the south-southeast near 2 m.p.h. Very little motion is forecast tonight. A slow northward to north-
northwestward motion is forecast to begin on Friday.
Data from an Air Force Reserve hurricane hunter aircraft indicate that the maximum sustained winds have increased to near 70 m.p.h. with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours and Nate is expected to become a hurricane by Friday.
