LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- On Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at approximately 10:26 am, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Preferred Community Bank, 2511 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, Florida in reference to an armed robbery.

Witnesses say, two males wearing masks entered the bank, displayed firearms and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported during the robbery. Surveillance photos are attached to this press release. No other details are being released at this time.
