CHARLOTTE HARBOR, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Major Crimes Unit detectives are asking the public to help identify the man involved in the armed robbery Monday evening at the Circle-K, 23929 Harborview Road in Charlotte Harbor.

CCSO received a call at 9:12 p.m. from a clerk who reported the armed robbery. The man entered the store, demanded money and implied he had a weapon. He then fled from the convenience store. CCSO deputies, K9 and helicopter were called out in an attempt to locate the robber, but were unsuccessful in finding the suspect

MCU detectives said the man is between 40 to 50 years of age, about 6-feet tall, and weighing an estimated 170 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a yellow long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a green baseball cap, as seen in the surveillance photos.
