JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Police say a driver lost control of a BMW and plowed through a roadside fruit stand in Jacksonville, killing a bystander and injuring a child.
    
The accident happened about 6 p.m. Sunday in a gas station parking lot.
    
Jacksonville Sheriff's spokesman Robert Peck says one man died after arriving at a hospital. Peck says the child was also taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
    
The Florida Times-Union reports the driver was taken to the hospital. A person working at the fruit stand received minor injuries.
    
Officials have not released the names of the people involved in the crash.
    
No further details were immediately available.
