OCALA, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a horse was severely injured when it fell out of a trailer traveling on Interstate 75 near Ocala.
    
The accident happened about 10:40 a.m. Sunday. FHP officials say troopers had to put the horse down because of the injuries.
    
FHP officials say they don't know how the horse got out of the trailer.
    
The Ocala Star-Banner (http://bit.ly/owTlQX ) reported that the horse broke its legs in the fall.
    
Traffic on northbound I-75 was blocked for about two hours until the wreckage was cleared.
