LEE COUNTY, Fla. Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is once again partnering with PACE Center for Girls for an evening of fun, fashion, and fundraising.

The “Love That Dress & Goodwill, Too” collection event will be held on Thursday, July 16 at the Goodwill Boutique on 2401 First Street. The event will take place from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m., immediately followed by an after party at Firestone’s.

“This donation collection event is a fun way for community members to support both organizations,” said Goodwill spokesperson Madison Mitchell. “All while having fun, of course!”

Attendees are encouraged to bring both a gently loved dress for Love That Dress and other gently loved items for Goodwill.

The event will feature light refreshments, entertainment, a scavenger hunt with Goodwill gift certificates as the prizes, as well as a Chinese auction featuring $100 in gift certificates from Firestone’s, a private shopping experience at the Goodwill Boutique for 10 people and $100 Goodwill gift certificate, and more.

“PACE and Goodwill have forged a solid partnership over the past few years,” said Allyson Ross, special projects associate of PACE Center for Girls, Lee.

“We’ve found innovative and creative ways of serving and supporting each other’s mission.”
