NORTH NAPLES, Fla. - Family members of a 45 year old mother that was found brutally murdered in an apartment says they want justice for her alleged killer.

"Of course we consider him a monster and I certainly want the harshest penalty available for him," said Joe Hunter, the ex-husband of 45-year-old Suzanne Bishop.

Multiple sources close to the case have confirmed with WINK News Bishop was found with parts of her body cut off; however, the Sheriff's Office can't confirm that, saying it's an active investigation.

"Its unthinkable - its just unthinkable. It's hard for us to imagine anybody that could do this," Hunter said during a phone conversation with WINK News.

Christopher Serna, 34, is charged with murdering the mother of 3.

Serna is being held without bond.
