JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a motorcycle escort leading a funeral procession through Jacksonville was seriously injured when another driver turned into his path.

Police say 81-year-old Clyde Baker was leading a procession to Greenlawn Cemetery Thursday morning when a pickup truck clipped the back of his Harley-Davidson. Authorities say his injuries were potentially life-threatening. He was not an active-duty law enforcement officer.

In 2009, a retired Jacksonville police officer on a motorcycle collided with a car making a left turn in front of a funeral procession procession.
