ROTONDA WEST, Fla.-UPDATE: The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office reports the elderly missing and endangered 92-year-old man from Rotonda West has been found out of state. George Douglas Sutherland, 92, 113 Sportsman Road, was located in Atlanta, Georgia. CCSO Communications reported Friday morning that Sutherland was found around 5 a.m.; he is well and in good condition. His family has been notified and are currently making arrangements to bring him and his car back home.

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office issued a Missing/Endangered Adult BOLO for George Douglas Sutherland, 92, of 113 Sportsman Road in Rotonda West.

Sutherland’s family called CCSO at 5:40 a.m. to report him missing and that he took all his clothes. The Alzheimer victim was reported to have been very upset, and drove off in a 2003 beige Hyundai 4-door with license number G31-3BY.

The family said they believed he was headed to Swansea, Massachusetts to his brother’s home. He is described as a white male, grey hair, green eyes, 5’-8” tall, 173 pounds.
