MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) - A young couple died in what Miami Gardens police called a "cold-blooded" attack by carjackers who were apparently after the victims' souped-up 1997 Mustang.

The fatal shooting happened early Monday at a Miami Gardens gas station. Police say grainy surveillance video shows three to four men approaching 23-year-old Julian Soler as he was parked beside a gas pump.

The video shows a man tap on the window, flashing a gun. Police say when Soler got out of the car with his hands up, the man opened fire, killing him. Another man forces 24-year-old Kennia Duran from the car and she was fatally shot in the chest.

A burnt Pathfinder was found miles from the gas station later Monday. Police believe it was the carjacker's get-away vehicle.
