FORT MYERS, Fla.- Jose Valladarez Martines is facing drug trafficking charges after deputies found dozens of boxes of Viagra and Cialis hidden in his trunk. They say the drugs were headed to Cuba, but Valladarez Martines doesn't understand why he was arrested in the first place.

"You can buy them on the internet. They were samples of little pills. They're making big drama out of nothing," he said.

Not so says Major Jim Jones with the Lee County Sheriffs Office. He says any drug sold illegally is serious business.

"If we stop a car trafficking pills, regardless of what type, we're going to build a criminal case and put them in jail. We love doing it, we'll continue to do it," said Jones.

Although sex drug busts are rare in Southwest Florida, Jones says it's something his deputies will be monitoring closely after three separate cases on Interstate-75.

"I think its diffuclt for people to obtain them. I don't know if it's an embarassment issue," said Jones.

Valladarez Martines has already been convicted of cocaine trafficking in the past.
