FORT MYERS, Fla. - The two suspects in the violent robbery at Love Boat Ice Cream in Fort Myers Friday night know the store well. One of the suspects is a former employee. The other is a neighbor.

"I don't understand the decision that was made by them to do this," said store owner Steve Staley, "it makes no sense at all."

Staley remembers one of the suspects, 24 year old Chris Foster, when he worked at the Lee County ice cream store.

"It's been quite awhile since he worked here, he's been in a lot of trouble since then," Staley said.

According to jail records, Foster is now a transient living at Fort Myers Beach. He also has a long history of arrests.

His alleged accomplice, his 18 year old brother Seth, lives two blocks away from Love Boat. Nobody answered the door when WINK crews stopped by.

The robbery is especially shocking because the business was packed Friday night, but that didn't scare away the gunmen. Staley says the robbery took only 63 seconds from beginning to end.

The two brothers are still in the Lee County Jail at this point. They're due in court next month.
