LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Two young suspects were arrested for arson and grand theft after being accused of stealing two ATV's and then setting the victims' shed on fire to cover up the crime.

The fire was started around 5 a.m. on Friday. The flames came within feet of the victims' home, while the family slept inside. Lehigh Acres Fire Department was able to control the blaze within about 40 minutes.

The suspects are 13 and 14 years old, and one of which is a nearby neighbor of the victims. WINK News is not naming the teenagers because they are minors.

The suspects were spotted pushing one of the stolen ATV's down Gunnery Rd later Friday afternoon. The two eventually turned themselves in to Lee County Sheriff's Office.

They were booked at the Lee County Juvenile Assesment Center for charges of arson and grand theft.
