CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Coral police say they nabbed a thief using good detective work and a little help from the Internet.

Law enforcement has been setting up stings for as long as they've been catching criminals, but as the electronic age continues to evolve , so does police work. That is just what happened over the weekend as a suspect allegedly tried to sell a stolen radio on the website Craigslist.

Investigators say 21-year-old-Joshua Santiago stole a radio out of a B.M.W. last week. The car was parked in the owners garage, but the garage door was still open. Santiago allgegedly stole the radio and posted it for sale on Craigslist.

When the radio's owner noticed it on Craigslist, he called police who acted as an interested buyer and made arrangements to buy the radio. When Santiago showed up to make the sale he was quickly taken into custody.

Santiago faces a host of charges including grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
