A case of "muggle" madness at theatres in Southwest Florida and across the country, as Harry Potter fans came out in droves to say a final farewell to their favorite boy wizard.

The 8th and final installment of the series-- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opened to sold out crowds at midnight.

Hollywood insiders are predicting it's weekend take could eclipse the $158.4 million mark set by "The Dark Knight" in 2008.

The last chapter of Harry's story doesn't just mean the end of the most successful film franchise ever, it's also a turning point for many young fans who've grown up right alongside the gang from Hogwarts.

But it's not the end of the profits for Warner Brothers. The studio is considering expanding Potter theme parks and plans to transform the London studio where the film was shot into a tourist destination.
