LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - A Lehigh mom is trying to figure out how she will feed her family after thieves broke into her car and stole all of her groceries. The crooks were caught on camera.. and now deputies hope they can track them down.

For most, a trip to the grocery store is just another chore. But for Michelle Martin, this week's trip was something to look forward to."I didn't have food in my house for a while. and I was so happy and syked to get food," Martin said.

Not for herself, but for her baby boy. Michelle had just spent badly-needed food stamps on milk, water, and canned goods at Publix, $100 worth, when she stopped at the Wal-Mart on Lee Boulvard to buy meat. 30 minutes later, she came out to find a security guard by her car.

"He said, is that your car? I said yeah, and he's like, somebody just came in an Oldsmobile, a Grand Marquis, came up to your trunk, took all your stuff out, and drove off really fast," Martin said.

Her trunk is broken, and she couldn't afford to fix it. "It was heart crushing," she said. "It was disappointing because I work hard for my little bit of money that I make."

Security camera images show the suspects at the checkout and their dark sedan in the parking lot. Michelle hopes that will be enough to catch the criminals so no other family is left hungry.

"I pray you learn your lesson from this," Martin said. "Just know that you took food out of a child's mouth, a child that didn't do anything to you."

For now, Michelle says she is forced to feed her son regular food instead of baby food, since all of the cans were stolen. But despite this setback, she's staying positive, relying on her faith to get her through.
