PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives arrested three prostitutes in separate undercover sting operations relating to females soliciting prostitution via internet ads.

The sting operation began Tuesday when an undercover detective made contact over the internet with “Monica” who agreed to meet at 4 p.m. in a Charlotte County motel. The detective met with her and once the $150 was exchanged for sex, back up units arrived and arrested Shannon R. Wiggins, 31, of Cape Coral. A search of her purse found Opiates.

The second sting operation occurred Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Angela Elizabeth Kirkwood, 24, of Bradenton. Kirkwood agreed to meet with the undercover detective if he agreed to pay her taxi fare and take it off the total cost of “the outcall.” When she arrived in Charlotte County they met and accepted $120 for sex. The detective then arrested her.

The third person arrested was Nicole Cristian Hager, 36, of Venice. She met with the undercover detective and took $150 for her services, then was arrested. She was found in possession of a Crack Cocaine pipe that she had smoked in front of the detective before the money was exchanged.

All three were charged with Solicitation to Commit Prostitution. Wiggins was additionally charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hager was additionally charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. None of the women have posted bond at this time.
