LEE COUNTY, Fla - Blake Rodgers is now in jail, having turned himself into authorities at 7:44 p.m. Thursday night.

Rodgers is charged with Robbery and Felony Battery.

On June 9, 2011, at approximately 2:10 am, the Lee County Sheriffs Office responded to an alarm at Mobile On the Run located at 11891 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers.

When deputies arrived on scene they located two male victims, in their 20s, bleeding from their mouths.  One of the victims had a tooth knocked out and other significant injuries to his mouth.

The investigation revealed the two victims, along with two other friends, had stopped by to pay a visit to a mutual friend who was working at the store.  As they talked with one another in front of the store, an older model Ford F-150 pickup truck pulled up and two white males exited the vehicle.  One of the victims recognized one of the males as former high school classmate, Blake Rodgers.  The two males immediately began yelling at the group of friends and began an unprovoked physical fight with one of them.  During the fight, this victim had money forcibly removed from his hand and suffered injuries to his face.  The second victim was injured when he attempted to help his friend and was also battered about the face, at which time he had a tooth knocked out and suffered other severe injuries to his mouth.
