LEHIGH ACRES, FL-A mother and her two sons accused of burglary are behind bars tonight, thanks to a quick thinking minister.
The Jehovah witness minister, who did not want us to show his face or be identified, says he was driving down this Lehigh Acres road, when he saw this.
A stripped A/C unit and these three suspects with a truck full of appliances outside a vacant home.
"They took one look at me, they started getting very nervous."
The 21 year old, armed with his Bible and his moral conviction, followed the suspects.
"I was a little nervous, but it just felt like the right thing to do."
He trailed them for miles while on the phone with 911.
Finally the truck stopped at a house. Deputies were there to arrest Lisa Tarvin and her sons, Tyler and Dustin.
"They did something wrong, it was in my power to do something, so I had to."
Something that makes his older brother nervous.
He says, "You know he's never tried to be a crime fighter before, that's a new one for him."
New, but something he says he was glad to do.
"I don't have any regrets."
