FORT MYERS, Fla.-A call came into the Fort Myers Police Department at 3:23 p.m. regarding an assault and aggravated robbery at 3909 Seminole Avenue in Fort Myers.

One man was taken away on a stretcher from the residence.

Police say two males were walking down Seminole Court when a grey van approached them. Witnesses say three black males humped out of the van wearing ski masks. One of the three men were armed with a gun.

One of the suspects allegedly struck one of the victims in the head with a gun and demanded money from him. During the scuffle, the gun went off, but no one was shot.

The suspects stole the wallets of the victims.

The suspects fled the scene in a van. FMPD called LCSO to put up a chopper to search for the van but it was never located.

FMPD is on the scene investigating.
