Most results for this year's Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test scores for fourth through 11th grade students in reading and math are unchanged from 2010.
Education officials said Monday that's because a new FCAT scoring scale is not yet ready for tougher standards that were tested for the first time this year in most subjects and at most grade levels.
Students did show increases for all tested grades in science and a slight decrease in 10th grade mathematics.
Those were the only tests that haven't yet been upgraded.
Results for third grade reading and math and writing for all grades previously were released.
Third graders must pass the reading exam to advance to fourth grade. High school students also must pass the FCAT to graduate.
