COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Good news for sea turtles, their numbers are up...way up!

Collier County has seen over a 600 percent jump in nests. According to environmentalist, this time last year there were only 17 nests. As of today, there's over 100.

Warm water earlier in the year is credited as the reason.

And, just as a friendly reminder, don't forget to turn out your lights at night to help the hatchlings' survival.
