LABELLE, Fla. -- A man in Labelle lost everything he loves in a fire and he's now offering a big cash reward from his own pocket to find who set it. The man is offering $50,000 of his own money.

A $50,000 reward to find out who would destroy a lifetime of hobbies that were turned to ash in a matter of minutes.

"Why would you do that to me? If you wanted something I got, you could have asked me. If I've done something to you, we need to sit down and talk about it. Why burn me out?" said Ashley George, who is offering the $50,000 reward.

It's a night ashley george says he wants to forget.

"Somebody had pried the door open. I don't know if they threw some kind of a bomb in there or what but it was burning, the whole building was burning," said George.

The State Fire Marshal's office is calling the blaze that torched the building, arson and suspicious in nature. George said on April 28, someone went to his facility in Labelle where he kept thousands of dollars worth personal belongings and destroyed everything in sight in a matter of minutes.

"We had about $250,000 worth of toys, welders, wire welders, generators, aluminum welders, cutters, two air compressors, it just a big welding shop," said George.

George gave WINK News a look at surveillance video near the fire. At one point you can see when the fire is started and minutes later people are seen running away. Finding those responsible isn't George's only concern. He said nothing was insured because it was all paid off.

"Now I've got to work another 10 years to replace all this you know? it hurts," said George.

George said his checkbook is open for anyone who brings information that will convict those responsible.

"You're offering $50,000 out of your own pocket?" said Genevieve Judge, WINK reporter. "Out of my own pocket, $50,000," said George.
