NAPLES, Fla. -- Naples High School is getting some national recognition. The group Reading is Fundamental, honored the school for going above and beyond in promoting children's literacy.

The school's media specialist started the program in 1999. It serves more than 500 students every year. That's more than one third of the school's population.
