LEE COUNTY, Fla. - A known juvenile offender has been arrested for a January sexual attack after a DNA match led deputies to his front door.

On January 7, 2011, the Lee County Sheriff's Office received information in reference to a just occurred home invasion robbery and sexual battery involving a senior adult victim (over the age of 65).  The suspect was described only as a male in his teens wearing either a hood or mask to cover his face.  Detectives with the Major Crimes/Special Victims Unit responded and assumed the investigation.

Evidence was recovered which included a potential DNA profile from a possible suspect.  The evidence was submitted to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for comparison to known offenders.
