BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.-A man accused of hurling rocks at a woman's car is behind bars. That's after the Bonita Springs victim chases him down in it.
Vilma Ramirez said, "It hit right here and my friend was in the passenger seat."
Ramirez was in her car turning on to sherwood lane.
"When we heard a big like thump hit my car, and i told my friend, was that a rock?!"
It was. Ramirez says she saw a man throw it.
"He was drunk because you could see he was walking all wobbly and stuff."
The rock hit her windshield, cracked it and then hit her passenger in the ear.
"I turned back around, I was like okay we have to stop him because he just threw a rock at my car."
Ramirez drove after the man while on the phone with 911.
"I blocked him with my car because."
Ramirez said the man took off. She followed him to his house which happens to be directly across the street from hers.
Luckily for her, a deputy was one street over and arrested 37 year old Carlos Miguel.
"He denied doing it, said it was someone else, but he was the only guys out there."
Ramirez is just glad she put an end to an end to what she thinks may have been a dangerous game.
"He may have been drunk because it was Cinco De Mayo, I don't care.
What if that was a little boy on a bike he hit? Now he's in jail."
