PORT CHARLOTTE Fla.- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Street Crimes and Narcotics units raided a Port Charlotte home at 22362 Hernando Avenue Wednesday at 8:05 a.m. Detectives served a search warrant after an ongoing Narcotics Unit investigation, and seized a total of 109.2 grams of marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia. Arrested was Jeffrey Petit-Frere, 23, the sole occupant in the home.

A search of the home located a scale, 11 packs of rolling papers, four plastic baggies, small amounts of marijuana in three rooms, and 95 grams of marijuana in a plastic gallon bag hidden in a cardboard box in a Pedigree Dog Food Bag.

Petit-Frere was transported to the Charlotte County Jail and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana Over 20 Grams, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
