NAPLES, Fla.- Hundreds of tea party members rallied in Naples on Friday, spending their Tax Day protesting big government spending. But a brand-new Internet tool introduced by President Obama promises to show you exactly where your hard-earned cash is going.

This Tax Day, hundreds of Naples Tea Party members took their message to the streets....rallying on the corner of U.S. 41 and Pine Ridge Road, protesting big government spending.

"We are way too overtaxed. The government is taking all the money and not letting the states run things that need to be run," Naples Tea Party member Nancy Lange said Friday.

But also on Friday, the White House debuted its new tool showing taxpayers just where their money is going. It's called the Federal Taxpayer Receipt, a brand-new program introduced by President Obama this year.

"Every American should look at it. See where our tax dollars are going," rallier Debbie McComb said Friday.

After entering your Social Security, Medicare, and Income Tax amounts, the online program quickly computes how and where your tax dollars are being spent.

"I think it's a terrific idea and when you see it, it's shocking to see where all your hard-earned money goes and what wasteful spending is going on in our government," rallier Jennifer Miller said.

The receipt breaks down tax contributions to individual categories such as national defense, health care, and education....the White House's effort to create a more transparent government. Still, some Tea Party members aren't sold.

"If it's run by the government, I don't trust it. I can't trust the government so I don't know if I'd even do that," Lange said.

The online Federal Taxpayer Receipt also breaks down what percentage of your Income Tax goes toward different government departments.
