FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools will host the 24th annual Golden Apple Teacher Recognition Dinner on Friday, April 15th at the Harborside Event Center.

This elegant, black-tie affair is a celebration of excellent teaching in Lee County; 100 educators (6 Recipients, 24 Finalists and 70 Teachers of Distinction) from the School District of Lee County will be recognized and six will be guests of honor, receiving the prestigious Golden Apple award.

The Dinner will once again be broadcast live on Comcast – Channel 99 at 8:00 p.m. and simulcast live on Rebroadcast will be Saturday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. & Saturday, April 30 at 12:00 p.m. on WINK-TV.
