ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics detectives, acting on numerous tips, went undercover Wednesday and arrested the owner of Michelle’s Therapy, 3797 S. Access Road, Englewood. Charged with Deriving Support from the Proceeds of Prostitution, and Solicitation to Commit Prostitution, was Michele Davis Chamberlain, 36, 13100 S. McCall Road, Gardens of Gulf Cove area.

Detectives said tipsters reported Chamberlain was performing sexual acts on her customers and she advertised on several websites as an escort and several blog pages regarding her business.

A Narcotics detective called for an appointment and went to the business at 1 p.m. Chamberlain let him in, locked the front and rear door, and told him to lie on the table for a message. Conversation was made about a “deeper massage” for $65 and the undercover detective agreed. Chamberlain then grabbed the detective at which time he immediately stopped the activity and identified himself as a CCSO detective. He unlocked the door and let other Narcotics detectives in and Chamberlain was arrested.

She was taken to the Charlotte County Jail and later released after posting a $3,500 bond.
