ORLANDO, Fla.- A Michigan inmate with no connection to Casey Anthony has filed a handwritten motion on behalf of the Florida mother charged with murdering her 2-year-old daughter.
The motion filed Tuesday asks that Anthony's attorney be removed, adding another bizarre twist to the high-profile murder case set to begin next month.
The inmate, Curtis Jackson, claims he is submitting the motion on behalf of Anthony. She is charged with first-degree murder for the death of her daughter, Caylee. Anthony has pleaded not guilty and says a kidnapper took the girl.
In an email, a court administrator in Orlando says Jackson is not connected to the case in anyway and that the motion wasn't filed by Anthony.
