CAPE CORAL, FL - Cape Coral police say Harold Berkey stabbed Richard Falb multiple times in a jealous rage. According to reports, Berkey became enraged after seeing his former girlfriend, Kim Lehmann, talking with Richard Falb. Falb works at La Terraza restaurant, just north of Cape Coral Parkway. The attack took place at Rack 'em Billiards, right next door. Witnesses told investigators, Falb was talking to Kim Lehmann when Berkey walked in and began stabbing him.  Patrons and employees tackled Berkey and held him until police arrived. Falb was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries. A hospital spokesperson says he has been treated and released. Officers say Berkey did warn of the attack, sending a text to Lehmann stating that he was going to "stab someone". Berkey is being charged with 1st degree attempted premeditated murder.
