FORT MYERS, Fla.- With spring break a few days away, the Lee County Sheriff's Office is gearing up for a busy month.
The sheriff's office tells WINK News that there will be four to ten extra deputies patrolling the beach and the surrounding area.
Deputies say they will be on the outlook for people who aren't abiding by the law. People who are not in compliance with the open container policy may be fined and arrested.
Deputies tell us that they want beach goers to enjoy their vacation without any hassles.
