FORT MYERS, Fla.- Deputies call it a drug deal gone bad.

Two men, beaten, suffocated, and set on fire; their bodies abandoned in a Jeep on a rural Lee County road.

So far, one of the six men has taken a plea deal in the murders. One is Robert Downey, Jr. He was scheduled to appear in court today to discuss how to move forward with the case. He was a no show.

His lawyer told a judge he could not contact him. Downey's lawyer told us outside the courtroom he is confident his client has no fled. But he can only guess that he's somewhere in Collier County.

The judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

Downey is facing 15 years for his part in the murders, but he could get a lighter sentence if he testifies against the five other men. Right now, even his own lawyer doesn't know his whereabouts.
